Features
Everything you need for a local Mac vault
No dashboard collage, no upsell maze — the vault, the way in, and the tools to manage it.
Encrypted local vault
Your logins live in an encrypted vault file on your Mac. Bevel Keys is designed so day-to-day use doesn't depend on a Bevel Keys cloud login.
Master password & recovery phrase
You unlock with a master password you remember. A 12-word recovery phrase is issued when you create your vault (and again if you change your master password), so you can regain access if you forget it — store that phrase offline.
Touch ID
On supported Macs, enable Touch ID unlock in Settings after you've unlocked with your master password once.
Organize with categories
Group logins into Work, Family, and categories of your own. Each category includes a notepad for API keys or related notes.
CSV import with Bevel's template
Use Bevel Keys' CSV template to bulk-add email accounts and logins. Fill the template, import the file, and bring entries into your vault in one pass.
Encrypted backup
Create encrypted backups you control. Restore replaces the vault on that Mac and walks you through setting a new master password.
For startups
One category per project
Create custom categories so every account and key tied to a project lives in one place. Spin up a category for each client or product, keep related logins and notes together, and stop hunting across a flat password list when you need the staging API key or the SaaS login for that build.
Free and Premium
One app, a clear upgrade path
Free: local vault with a login limit.
Premium: unlimited logins and the Chrome extension with auto-save.
